In this article, I am going to share a complete step on how to create an E-Commerce website if you have already purchased a 4-year hosting plan from Hostinger website. So let’s start with the creation process.
Navigate On Hostinger.
Step 1: Open the Hostinger website and log in with your username and password. Once that is done navigate to the websites tab from the navbar. After navigating the screen will look like as shown below, now you need to click on create or migrate a website.
Step 2: If the below question appears then click on Online Store.
Step 3: To create a new website we need to click on Create a new website and people who want to migrate their existing e-commerce website need to follow some different steps which we will talk about in later blogs.
Step 4: After clicking on Create a new website below question will be asked and they are quite confusing for any newbie, which one to choose and which one to not. So don’t worry in this article we will be covering both things. So let’s start with WordPress because WordPress is customizable and it has lots of plugins that we can install according to the requirements. Click on the WordPress option

Step 5: Below we need to enter the administrator email and password which will be used in WordPress login from anywhere in the world. After entering your email and password click on the continue button.

Step 6: After clicking on continue below things will be selected by default as shown in the below image and but I will suggest let’s select all the things. Before selecting all the plugins we need to just understand what these plugins will do for us.
- WooCommerce:
- WooCommerce is a WordPress plugin that is specially made for the creation of an E-commerce website that includes secure payments, configurable shipping options, and more.
- MonsterInsights:
- MonsterInsights is a plugin that enables us to track our website’s statistics and view how people interact with our site.
- OptinMonster:
- OptingMonster is a Marketing plugin that assists in getting more email subscribers and grow our business.
- All In One SEO:
- All-in-one SEO is used for optimizing SEO which helps our website to be visible, and gain organic traffic and customers.
- Google Site Kit:
- Google site kit is a mandator plugin that is used to track traffic or any update on our websites.
Step 7: Now you can try the below-listed themes if you want but I will suggest skipping this time because the suggested themes are not related to Ecommerce sometimes. So Scroll and Click on the skip button.
Buy A Domain From Hostinger.
Step 8: Now select Buy a domain or if you have a domain previously then click on Use an Existing Domain this time I am going to buy a new domain from Hostinger because it will save a lot of time and if you want to buy a domain from other websites like GoDaddy or a Namecheap that is also fine at the end we need one domain for creating the address of our website. Now click on the buy a domain button and search for a domain name that looks good to you. I have taken Favouratestore.com as a domain name due to creating a general store that looks familiar to everyone. Click on Buy Now.
Step 9: After selecting your domain name below screen will appear. Click on Finish Purchase to do the actual payment before editing your website.
Step 10: After finishing your purchase you need to click on edit your website. Select woo-commerce and e-commerce-related options. Hostinger will suggest some default plugins that will help in the process of developing an e-commerce store just make it default and continue.
Free WordPress Theme For Your E-commerce Website.
Step 11: Choosing a theme is a difficult option and after selecting plugins hosting will show some lists of themes and some of them are paid, you can preview them one by one to check the look of every theme. To start, I have chosen a Storefront theme that is completely free. Below is the image of StoreFront. This is an amazing theme for starting an E-commerce store.
Step 12: Last but not least step. Till this step, you have created your store now how you can check whether everything is done perfectly or not. For checking enter your domain name in the URL like favouratestore.com which looks like as shown below in my case because I have chosen a storefront theme which is completely free.
and to log in on the WordPress dashboard you need to append /wp-admin with the domain name i.e. favouratestore.com/wp-admin and enter your username and password on it.
